Rebuilding Clickin from a heavy WordPress platform into a lightweight custom PHP system.
A ground-up platform migration that dramatically reduced the website footprint, expanded the feature set and created a stronger technical foundation for performance, search and long-term product development.
The old platform had become heavier than the product needed.
Clickin's previous website ran on WordPress. As the platform evolved, more pages, systems, interactions and custom functionality were added. The result was a much larger technical footprint than the new product architecture required.
Performance scores recorded across the previously tested pages.
The platform we replaced with a custom PHP architecture.
We did not simply redesign the interface. We rebuilt the platform.
The WordPress installation was migrated into a custom PHP architecture designed around Clickin's actual requirements. The rebuild gave the platform tighter control over markup, assets, page logic, reusable components, metadata and performance.
At the same time, the website's functionality was substantially expanded with new custom features and experiences. The goal was not to make a smaller website; it was to make a more capable platform without carrying unnecessary weight.
Custom PHP structure with direct control over page output and reusable systems.
Lower asset weight, tighter delivery and a substantially smaller overall footprint.
Semantic structure, metadata, canonical URLs, structured data and local relevance.
More room for custom functionality without being constrained by the old stack.
A lighter platform, with stronger measured performance.
The current PHP platform was re-tested through Google PageSpeed Insights on October 9, 2026. The evidence below shows representative before-and-after comparisons from the same areas of the website.

The improvement was not limited to one page.
Representative evidence shows the new platform consistently operating in the green performance range. Additional tested pages and their complete reports are retained as supporting documentation.
PageSpeed scores are lab measurements and can vary between runs. The table reflects the supplied before reports and the latest October 9, 2026 reports used for this case study. The technical SEO score is an automated Lighthouse signal, not a guarantee of search rankings.
330 MB became 9.72 MB.
The rebuilt platform is approximately 34× smaller by the supplied website-size measurements. That reduction happened while the product gained a substantially larger custom feature set.
Built with Thane and Navi Mumbai in the map.
The rebuilt Clickin platform is structured to communicate local relevance naturally, rather than stuffing city names into every page. The content architecture, metadata, headings, internal linking and structured data create a foundation for searches connected to web design and web development across the region.
Local-first relevance for businesses looking for professional website design and development close to home.
A broader city-level target for businesses comparing digital agencies, website developers and growth partners.
Regional coverage extending into Vashi and surrounding commercial hubs without compromising natural copy.
Performance and search were treated as one system.
The rebuild established a stronger technical foundation: semantic HTML, clean metadata, canonical URLs, Open Graph data, structured data, responsive layouts, optimized assets, internal navigation and location-aware content architecture.
Clear page hierarchy and content relationships.
Page titles, descriptions, canonical URLs and social metadata.
Organization, WebPage, CreativeWork and breadcrumb signals.
Natural geographic context for Thane, Mumbra, Navi Mumbai and Vashi.
The platform is now connected to a measurable search foundation.
Search Console provides the real-world visibility layer beyond lab-based PageSpeed testing. The latest snapshots supplied for this case study show ongoing organic impressions and clicks for Clickin.
More capability without carrying the old weight.
The migration was not an exercise in removing features to chase a score. It was an architectural reset: the platform gained substantially more custom functionality while its measured footprint dropped from 330 MB to 9.72 MB.
That gives Clickin a cleaner base for future services, landing pages, case studies, search-focused content and product experiences across Thane, Mumbra, Navi Mumbai, Vashi and the wider service region.
A stronger foundation for what comes next.
From a 330 MB WordPress installation to a 9.72 MB custom PHP platform — with expanded functionality, verified performance and a technical foundation built for continued search and product growth.
A rebuild we can measure, inspect and keep improving.
This project was built for our own platform, so every performance decision was made against a real production requirement: make Clickin more capable, more maintainable and dramatically lighter at the same time.
